Francis Tejada is an independent filmmaker from Central New Jersey who began his career working as a freelancer for several studios in the NY-Metro area after graduating from Richard Stockton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies in 2008.
In 2011, Francis had written, produced and directed his first professional short, “Awkward Knockings” with Riverview Studios.
With the success of his short, Francis was able to finance, shoot, and direct his first feature film. In 2014, he released “Bar Time Story” on Vimeo On Demand.
Bar Time Story’s success had given Francis more opportunities to write, produce, shoot, edit and direct commercials and short documentaries for local businesses such as Adelphia Wine Company and Koy Turkish Grill.
In 2015, Francis had collaborated with Richard Leighton to produce Craft Video Magazine, an online video magazine dedicated in showcasing local businesses who take pride in the craft of their products. Francis had produced short documentaries for Craft Video Magazine showcasing local businesses such as Coffee Corral, Kane Brewing, Gusto Grill, Nunzio’s Kitchen, Neshaminy Creek, and Moretti Wine Class.
Francis continues to produce and direct commercials and short documentaries for local businesses and is currently working to produce and direct his next feature film.
